Where Heritage Meets Artistry: The Maison Jacques Fath Flagship
First, inspired by the Maison concept, the flagship boutique was thoughtfully designed by Creative Director Rania Naim. She set out to create a destination where guests can fully explore the world of Jacques Fath Parfums.
“This address, just below my office at 12 Avenue Victor Hugo, holds special significance for me,” shares Naim. “It is the place where all of Jacques Fath’s emblematic fragrances were born. Most especially, the legendary Iris Gris / L’Iris de Fath. So, I wanted this flagship to be more than a boutique—it is a space for discovery, exchange, and sharing for every visitor.”
Set in a traditional Parisian environment, the Maison’s nearly 80-year heritage comes alive through carefully curated experiences that go beyond traditional retail. Every detail, from interior design to digital activations, reflects a commitment to deeper, richer experiences. The intention is to celebrate the artistry, history, and innovation of the house.
“I wanted to honor the craftsmanship that inspires me. So, I imagined a symbolic gesture: a hanging basket linking my office window to the boutique,” Naim explains. “As a result, each Iris Gris box is carefully prepared by my own hands, travels through this basket, and is placed directly into the hands of the customer. In this way, the ritual highlights the human, artisanal dimension of our Maison. Jacques Fath is not a large industrial machine—we are a family house of niche perfumes, where talented perfumers have a voice. Above all, passion, authenticity, and know-how take precedence over everything.”
A Setting Rich in History
Nestled on Avenue Victor Hugo, just steps from the Arc de Triomphe, the boutique sits along an avenue at the heart of the 16th arrondissement. Notably, the street is named after the celebrated French writer Victor Hugo (1802–1885). Over time, the avenue developed a rich literary legacy. Hugo once lived at number 124, and accordingly, in July 1881, the street was renamed in his honor. As a result, Avenue Victor Hugo is a lasting tribute to his enduring influence on Parisian culture.
